A baby tracker for nannies, in your own language

NidoLoop is a shared baby tracker for nannies, caregivers and parents. You log the day on your phone, in your language. The parents read it on theirs, in their language. Nobody copies anything into a translator.

This page is written for two people. The nanny, who will use it every day. And the parent, who is deciding whether to ask her to.

In your language

NidoLoop works in English, Spanish, Nepali and Russian. You pick your language once, with the gear button at the top right. From then on every screen is in your language.

So is everything the parents write. Their notes, the day's routine, the meal plan, the to-do list. All of it appears in your language. What you write appears in theirs. Nobody has to switch.

The routine is on the Today screen. Tap Routine under the date. You see the whole day in order, feeds, naps, pickups, with the current moment marked NOW. It is a guide, not a rule.

At the door, when you are both standing there, tap the microphone in Chat. Speak normally. NidoLoop says your words aloud in the parent's language, then their answer back in yours. That is the nanny handover without the guessing. The speech recognition runs on the phone itself, and no audio leaves it. Where the phone has no voice installed for a language, that language falls back to typing.

Logging the day

The Today screen is a set of cards. Bottle, sleep, diapers, solids and more. Each card has a plus. Tap it, choose what happened, save. That is the whole nanny daily log app. One tap per feed, nap, diaper or meal.

You do not have to be exact. An honest estimate is better than no entry. Any entry can be edited or deleted later. You can add a note to any entry, and the parent reads it in their language.

Photos go in Chat. Tap the photo button beside the message box and pick an image. It goes to the parents and into the family album. One or two a day is plenty. You are caring for a baby, not filing a report.

If the signal drops, keep logging. Entries save on your phone and send themselves when it is back.

Check in, step out, head home

Four taps mark your working day. They are in Chat and on the Today screen.

  1. Start shift when you arrive.
  2. Step out when you leave the house with the baby. A walk, an errand, an appointment, or something else.
  3. Back home when you return.
  4. End shift when you hand over and go.

Each tap posts a short line in the family chat with the time. The parents see the current state and since when. They get a notification, the same as for any message.

For parents: this is what your caregiver tells you, not where her phone is. NidoLoop has no GPS. It never asks for location and never shows it. What you see is the status she tapped and the time she tapped it. Nothing more.

Your hours

Every Start shift and End shift becomes a shift in your record. That is the nanny hours app inside NidoLoop, and it needs no extra work from you. You tapped in, you tapped out, the hours are there.

Your own view, My hours, shows the last twelve months as a bar chart, with a total for each family you work with. If a shift was never closed, or a day looks like a gap, NidoLoop points it out.

The parents see a weekly table, Hours worked, with the same numbers. Both sides look at one record.

The record is yours. It lives on your account, not the family's. When you finish with one family and start with another, your hours come with you. You can also download your own data at any time.

Your profile

NidoLoop gives you one profile that belongs to you. You type it yourself: a short bio, the languages you speak, your experience, and the certifications you hold, such as CPR, First Aid, ECE or a licence.

The profile is not tied to one family. If you work with two families, you join both from the same account. Each family sees only its own baby, its own chat and its own logs. Your profile and your hours sit above all of them.

For parents: the profile is what she wrote about herself. NidoLoop does not check it. There is no identity verification and no background check in the app. That part is still yours to do.

Joining a family

  1. The parent shares a code. It is six characters, like NIDO-K7M2QX, and it sits on their home screen.
  2. Open NidoLoop, tap Join a family, and type the code.
  3. A parent approves the request. While you wait, you see a waiting screen. There are no forms to fill in.
  4. Then you are in.

You see what you need for the day and nothing more. The family's settings and the invite code are not on your screen. If a parent removes you from the family, the family's data leaves your phone. Your profile and your hours stay with you.

For parents: nobody joins without your approval. If you invited her by email or phone from the app, NidoLoop checks the request against that invitation and marks it verified or unverified. You can rotate the code any time, and removing someone rotates it for you.

What it costs her

Nothing. Not now, not later.

Everything in NidoLoop is free today. When Premium arrives, it will be something a family can choose for its own account. It is never charged to a caregiver. And the parts you use every day, logging, chat, translation and check-in, are free for everyone, always.

Do I need my own account?

Only the code to start. NidoLoop creates an account for you the moment you join. Add an email and a password afterwards so your profile and your hours survive a new phone. The account is yours, not the family's, and it goes with you from family to family.

Does the parent see where I am?

No. NidoLoop has no GPS and never asks for your location. The parent sees the status you tapped, Start shift, Step out, Back home or End shift, and the time you tapped it.

What if the parent does not speak my language?

That is what NidoLoop is for. You write in Spanish, Nepali, Russian or English. They read it in their language, and you read their reply in yours. At the door, the microphone in Chat translates out loud, both ways.

What happens to my record if I leave a family?

Your hours and your profile stay on your account. The family's logs and chat are removed from your phone. You can download your own data at any time.

Ask the parent for the code, or send them this page.
