Our story: the people behind NidoLoop

If you are about to hand someone your baby's day, you have a right to know who made the app they will be using. This page is our answer. NidoLoop is made by Nido Technologies LLC, a small US company, and it started with our own baby.

The gap we lived

NidoLoop began at our kitchen table. We were parents piecing together a baby's day from half-understood texts, sent by a caregiver we trusted completely but could not always understand. Every evening we tried to work out how much our baby had eaten, how long the naps had run, whether anything had seemed off, and every evening some of it was lost between two languages.

The love was never the problem. Our first caregiver was careful, warm and attentive, and our baby was safe. The language was the problem. A note written in a hurry, a question that got a polite nod instead of an answer, a detail that mattered to a pediatrician and never made it home. We were not short of care. We were short of a way to pass it back and forth without dropping anything.

So we built the tool we wished we had had: one calm, shared place where care crosses the language line without anyone having to translate by hand. We believe caregivers deserve to be understood, and parents deserve to feel present even when they are away. NidoLoop is our small way of closing that loop, for your nest, and ours.

What a nest and a loop mean

Nido means nest: the safe, warm place a family builds around a child, and the caregivers who help hold it together. A nest is not one person's work. It is built by everyone who shows up.

Loop is the circle of care that keeps everyone informed: every feed, every nap, every note passed back and forth without a single detail dropping out. When the loop holds, nobody has to ask what happened today. They already know.

Put them together and you get NidoLoop: the nest, kept in a loop. A shared language of care between the people who love your child most.

What we decided not to build

Because we were the family on the other side of this, some decisions were easy. We wrote them down early so they would outlast any pressure to change them.

Your data is stored in Canada. Every family's records are isolated at the database level, photos live in private storage behind short-lived links, and data is encrypted in transit. You can download everything you have ever entered, or delete your account, from inside the app, free. When a family is deleted, its records go with it.

How we launch

NidoLoop launches community by community. We do not try to be everywhere at once; we start with the languages families actually need and add the next one wherever a community tells us it belongs.

Today that means English, Spanish, Nepali and Russian. Each member of a family picks their own language, and everything the others write, messages, notes, the daily routine, the meal plan, reads in it. If your community's language is not here yet, tell us which one is next. You could be our next launch.

Where things stand

NidoLoop is on Google Play and on the App Store. Everything in the app is free today, for every family and every caregiver.

Later, a Premium plan for families will open the deeper archive: history and photos older than ninety days, written recaps, the pediatric summary and a larger care team. Premium is bought by the family, never by the caregiver, and nothing is ever deleted for a family that does not subscribe. Logging, chat, translation, the routine, check-ins, trends, the health record, export and deletion stay free.

We are a small team, and we read every message. If you are a parent deciding whether to trust us, or a caregiver wondering what the app will show about you, write to info@nidoloop.com and a person will answer.
